Like a deconstructed atomic clock, 'Matters of Time' consists of cesium-containing minerals, copper cables, electrical wire and construction tubes, each of which unfolds vastly different temporalities and speeds - from the deep time of minerals to the nanoseconds of electron oscillations. By combining the different temporalities, Beckerlee's work challenges the idea of ​​time as linear and constant.
